Application
The VELUX Sun tunnel can be installed in roof pitches between 15° and 60°.
Flat roofing material
TLR and TLF can be installed in roofs with flat roofing material and the window will be integrated in the roof surface flush with the roofing material.
Profiled roofing material
TWR and TWF can be installed in roofs with profiled roofing material and the window will be integrated in the roof surface in the same way as VELUX roof windows.
VELUX recommends the following application areas for rigid tunnel and flex tunnel.
Rigid tunnel
TLR and TWR can be installed at a distance between 1.45 m and 1.85 m measured in the centre line of the tunnel from the top edge of the batten to the ceiling finish level. At distances from 1.85 m up to 6 m, the rigid tunnel must be lengthened by VELUX Sun tunnel rigid extension.
Flex tunnel
TLF and TWF can be installed at a distance between 0.4 m and 2 m measured in the centre line of the tunnel from the top edge of the batten to the ceiling finish level.
